PREGNANCY CATEGORY: D
category C in first trimester; category D in second and third trimesters
Contraindicated in patients with a history of angioedema related to previous treatment with an ACE inhibitor and in patients with hereditary or idiopathic angioedema.
Safety and effectiveness in pediatric patients <6 years of age have not been established.
Prinzide and Zestoretic are lisinopril and hydrochlorothiazide.
